The program is developed to run on Windows platform only. To use the program to play files from a disk that is in the DVD writer, you need to have the DVD drive connected to the PC. Access the disk from the DVD drive from My Computer, right click on the file that you want to play, select Open With > Movie Player. The selected file should be opened with Movie Player, even if the disk that contains it is in the LG Slim Portable DVD Writer.
